If you put an apple in your knapsack to take with you as soon as you step off the tile you discover it has turned gold. But it’s still delicious! It’s golden and delicious (both gold and a food item).

You may only take a single apple with you, any others taken rot immediately, but you can return for another any time you are not currently carrying a golden apple.
