We aim to pack and ship all orders within 5 working days of purchase.
AGE RESTRICTIONS AND SAFETY
Our miniatures contain small pieces, sharp items and may contain lead which can be harmful if chewed or swallowed. They are gaming and display pieces not toys and are unsuitable for children under the age of 14 years. By placing an order with Oakbound Studio you acknowledge that you understand the risks involved and take full responsibility for the use to which they are put.
The texts of all books, all artwork and all miniatures are the IP of Oakbound Studio, a division of The Propworkshop, and are owned by Geoff Solomon-Sims. All names are entirely fictional or taken from original folklore and any similarity to actual persons in entirely unintentional.
USE AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
All online purchases are handled through Woocommerce and Paypal. Our online accounts are securely password protected and never left logged in. We only use our Paypal account on private machines with up to date firewall and virus/malware protection. Our e-commerce facilities provide us with the name, email and postal address given by the customer in order that we can post purchases to them. This is done by email to a password-protected account. Once the purchase has been shipped the Paypal transaction emails are stored securely for the purposes of compiling and auditing our accounts. We are required to keep these emails for at least 5 years for UK tax records purposes. We will not share your details with any other company or individual, nor will we use these details to contact you except to issue a refund. In exceptional circumstances we may use Survey Monkey or another online survey company to compile a survey for the purposes of managing and fulfilling a Kickstarter. Any surveys created for this purpose will be deleted once all orders are fulfilled and no information obtained in this manner shall be shared with a third party. Information held by Kickstarter itself will only be retrieved if needed for the purposes of order fulfilment and any data obtained through this source will be erased once fulfilment is complete.
RETURNS AND LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
By UK law a buyer is entitled to return an item for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving the item if it is damaged or an incorrect item. Loss and damage in the post does, sadly, occur even though we send our parcels signed for. If you have not received your item within Royal Mail’s estimated delivery time please contact us and we will investigate. If your item has arrived damaged please send us a photograph of the item and we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. If you live within the UK we will be able to pay the cost of returning any incorrect items to us. If you decide to cancel your order, return it as you have changed your mind or live outside the UK then we regret we cannot refund the cost of shipping the item back to us. Items returned due to a cancellation or change of mind are expected to be returned in the same packaging and condition as they were sent otherwise we may be unable to refund you. We always try to provide the best customer service possible for a small company, so please contact us if you have any concerns and we will try our best to accommodate them.
